Ui gets an interaction mode, Pointer or Touch, and notifies widgets when it changes. Scroll views follow finger drags and fling only in touch mode, hover tooltips only appear in pointer mode, and the studio shows the menu bar in pointer mode and the gear in touch mode. The application picks the mode from the platform and the Debug menu toggle switches it at runtime. |
