This change adds 32 more bit to store kernel features.
While for a short term it might be possible to make a space for one or
two extra bits, it seems going 64bit is inevitable.
Expanding the field to 64bit might introduce some slowdown due to less
optimal cache, but so is consolidation of existing flags could also
lead to performance drop in certain configurations.
The main tricky part of the change is Metal where function constants
are used to store kernel_features, and 64bit constants are only
available on macOS 12. There is a runtime check for it. On older macOS
versions the flags are stored as a pair of 32bit values. It is slower,
but there are unlikely to be many Cycles users on macOS 11.

MultiDevice::has_unified_image_memory needs to return true only if all
devices have unified image memory, since this is used to determine if
we need to copy image memory to the devices at all.
Renamed functions and added a comment to clarify things.

Allow updating image_info while rendering for CPU devices, by replacing
the pointer in all per-thread kernel globals. The per-thread kernel globals
are now owned by the device to make this possible.

Make a distinction between an image texture for shading systems, and a
device image object. For full images this is the same, but for tiled
images we'll store the pixels across multiple device image objects.
Rename slot to image_info_id and image_texture_id to help distinguish
indexes into these.

Previously a string needed to be stored for each image texture, but we
might as well compute this on demand and avoid the overhead. There is
now a separate log_name() for the logging, and global_name() for
copying to GPU kernel global variable.

Previously there was a mix of "image" and "texture" to refer to the same
thing, use "image" when possible now. An exception is MEM_IMAGE_TEXTURE
to avoid conflicts with the MEM_IMAGE macro on Windows.

Device::const_copy_to is sometimes called when the Embree BVH has been freed
and not replaced yet. Previously this was a simpler pointer copy, now there is
a function call. Make sure it's just a function copy.

In detail:
- Direct accesses of state attributes are replaced with the INTEGRATOR_STATE and INTEGRATOR_STATE_WRITE macros.
- Unified the checks for the __PATH_GUIDING define to use # if defined (__PATH_GUIDING__).
- Even if __PATH_GUIDING__ is defined, we now check if the feature is enabled using if ((kernel_data.kernel_features & KERNEL_FEATURE_PATH_GUIDING)) {. This is important for later GPU ports.
- The kernel usage of the guiding field, surface, and volume sampling distributions is wrapped behind macros for each specific device (atm only CPU). This will make it easier for a GPU port later.
Embree 4.4 introduces an improvement in the Embree GPU
implementation by dropping shared memory usage in favor
of direct controllable memory transfers. This should allow
addressing several problems spotted in Blender regarding
multithreading and memory corruption when BVH and rendering
happen at the same time. However, to implement such
improvements, the API has changed for several functions, and
this commit adopts Blender code to these changes, making Blender
buildable and functional with all existing Embree 4.X
versions, before and after 4.4.
No functional changes in Blender behavior are expected if
using Embree versions below 4.4.

Since #118841 there are more cases where Cycles would check for the
graphics interop support. This could lead to a crash when graphics
interop functions are called without having active graphics context.
This change makes it so there is no graphics interop calls when doing
headless render. In order to achieve this the device creation is now
aware of the headless mode.

This adds path guiding features into Cycles by integrating Intel's Open Path
Guiding Library. It can be enabled in the Sampling > Path Guiding panel in the
render properties.
This feature helps reduce noise in scenes where finding a path to light is
difficult for regular path tracing.
The current implementation supports guiding directional sampling decisions on
surfaces, when the material contains a least one diffuse component, and in
volumes with isotropic and anisotropic Henyey-Greenstein phase functions.
On surfaces, the guided sampling decision is proportional to the product of
the incident radiance and the normal-oriented cosine lobe and in volumes it
is proportional to the product of the incident radiance and the phase function.
The incident radiance field of a scene is learned and updated during rendering
after each per-frame rendering iteration/progression.
At the moment, path guiding is only supported by the CPU backend. Support for
GPU backends will be added in future versions of OpenPGL.

* Rename "texture" to "data array". This has not used textures for a long time,
there are just global memory arrays now. (On old CUDA GPUs there was a cache
for textures but not global memory, so we used to put all data in textures.)
* For CUDA and HIP, put globals in KernelParams struct like other devices.
* Drop __ prefix for data array names, no possibility for naming conflict now that
these are in a struct.
* Replace license text in headers with SPDX identifiers.
* Remove specific license info from outdated readme.txt, instead leave details

* Add list of SPDX license identifiers used, and corresponding license texts.

This patch adds MetalRT support to Cycles kernel code. It is mostly additive in nature or confined to Metal-specific code, however there are a few areas where this interacts with other code:
- MetalRT closely follows the Optix implementation, and in some cases (notably handling of transforms) it makes sense to extend Optix special-casing to MetalRT. For these generalisations we now have `__KERNEL_GPU_RAYTRACING__` instead of `__KERNEL_OPTIX__`.
- MetalRT doesn't support primitive offsetting (as with `primitiveIndexOffset` in Optix), so we define and populate a new kernel texture, `__object_prim_offset`, containing per-object primitive / curve-segment offsets. This is referenced and applied in MetalRT intersection handlers.
- Two new BVH layout enum values have been added: `BVH_LAYOUT_METAL` and `BVH_LAYOUT_MULTI_METAL_EMBREE` for XPU mode). Some host-side enum case handling has been updated where it is trivial to do so.
