For backwards compatibility with older Blender versions, sRGB video files were read and written as CICP 1,1,1 (Rec.709 primaries with gamma 2.4). This is wrong, and makes importing and export video inaccurate when other software is involved. Now they get written correctly as 1,13,1. Loading an sRGB video file written by older Blender versions now assigns a different colorspace, in which case the colorspace must manually be set to "sRGB" to get matching results. Videos in existing blend files are not affected as they store the previously resolved colorspace. Pull Request: https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/pulls/163710 |
