When a floating point image (e.g. EXR file, or a scene strip result) contains "purely emissive" colors (alpha zero, but colors not zero -- for example as produced by compositor Glow effect), VSE Alpha Over blending mode was not handling them correctly, effectively "losing" the glow. Additionally, VSE colorspace conversions were also making it buggy. - Fix the incorrect optimization in Alpha Over effect that did not realize that pure emissive colors are possible. - The edge artifacts are in places where alpha is neither zero nor one. By default VSE is using sRGB color space, but scene strips or EXR images usually are in Linear color space. So VSE does colorspace conversion, and it was doing it with predivide=true; this is what causes the artifacts around edges. Since neither predivide=true nor predivide=false are strictly more correct than the other, switch VSE colorspace conversions to use predivide=false. This matches what Compositor color space conversion node is doing, and fixes the edge artifacts. - Note that this changes a bit how floating point images with semitransparencies look inside VSE, a bit. Arguably the new behavior is more correct. Co-authored-by: Alex Tkachyov <alexandrtk2605@gmail.com> Pull Request: https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/pulls/159793
